Selected by Vanity Fair as 'one of the top environmentalists in the US,' she was featured in the recently released Eleventh Hour produced/directed by Leonardo Di Caprio and Nadia Connors. Gloria has spent her life working in, advocating for and speaking about protecting forests.

“I do a lot of interviews…Gloria stands out as one of the smartest, most articulate, and charismatic voices on the future of our planet whom I have ever encountered"
- David Brancaccio TV Host, Investigative Journalist, Author

Known for her leadership in ecosystem management and for her courageous principled stands she received the Wilderness Society’s Murie Award, the Environmental Quality Award for exemplary resource decision-making from the Natural Resources Council of America, and the Environmental Hero Award from Sunset Magazine.

"Gloria Flora deserves to be held up as an American hero"
Chris Wood, Forestry Dept senior policy advisor.
